The Mill

Nearly three centuries of craftsmanship and tradition

A Monument with a Story

Molen De Ster is a tower mill, built in 1738. This type of mill has a gallery (stelling) around the body, allowing the miller to operate the sails without having to go down.

The mill still grinds grain into flour the traditional way, powered by nothing but the force of the wind.
